Function: pressure sustaining or back pressure valve (BPV)
Operation: Direct acting
Port flange: DN15, DN20, DN25, DN40 or DN50 PN16 flange, option ANSI150Lb or JIS10K flange.
Back Pressure adjustment: 0.2 to 1.5 Bar, displayed by pressure gauge (Included)
Max inlet pressure: 5 Bar, Tested 16 Bar
Temperature Range: -15°C to +80°C
Body: 316 stainless steel, option Duplex 316 stainless steel
Internals: stainless steel
Seals: NBR option Viton and EPDM
Media: air, water, pure water, light oil and other fluids under 40 CST and gases compatible with materials of construction.

Pressure sustaining valves are designed to maintain a pre-set back pressure, if the back pressure drops to the set value the valve will begin to close to maintain pressure, when pressure returns the valve will begin to open again.
Pressure gauge indicates the sustained back pressure (Upstream pressure).
